To date, the assets I oversee through my Independent Director mandates exceed €50 billion across multiple asset classes — from private equity to liquid strategies and real estate — and across a wide spectrum of legal structures, both regulated (such as RAIFs and SIFs) and unregulated (including SCSp and So.Pa.rFi).
This responsibility has given me a front-row seat to the evolution of the European investment landscape, allowing me to contribute to the
governance of vehicles that operate at scale and shape real economic outcomes.

Stefano launched his career in Asset Management in Milan, laying the foundations of a solid technical and analytical skill set. His path soon expanded across Europe: first to Madrid with BBVA, then to London with Société Générale, where he covered Southern European institutional clients and deepened his expertise in Capital Markets.
In 2008, he embraced Luxembourg as his new professional home, joining the Royal Bank of Canada and later BNP Paribas. There, he built a strong managerial track record in Asset Servicing, working across UCITS, Private Equity, and Real Estate structures and leading teams through complex operational and regulatory environments.
Today, Stefano plays an active role in the Luxembourg financial ecosystem as an independent consultant and Independent Director for UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds.
He brings a distinctly international perspective, cross-asset insight, and a refined command of the European regulatory landscape—qualities that continue to shape his contribution to the industry.
